The relationship
Of all the relationships, Watford Borough Council is the longest running and the most varied, spanning regeneration films, community projects like Frank’s story, awards ceremonies, public awareness campaigns and podcast production.
The brief has never been the same twice, from explaining a major regeneration scheme to celebrating community heroes, each project demanding its own tone while representing the council consistently well.
Every project needs to work for residents first, communicating vital public information reinforcing the council’s presence in a way people actually trust.

How we work together
The partnership covers video production, photography and podcast production across many areas of the council’s communications. Because the work happens regularly, each new project builds on an existing understanding of the council’s priorities, audiences and way of working, which means less time explaining the background and more time producing content that delivers. Recent work includes:
- The Town Hall Quarter regeneration film, helping residents and stakeholders understand one of Watford’s biggest development projects
- Frank’s story, a community case study showing the impact of coordinated support
- Event coverage for the Audentior Awards, celebrating individuals and organisations making a difference across Watford
- Tales of the River, a podcast series exploring Watford’s natural heritage
Whether the brief calls for a short campaign film, event photography or a multi-episode podcast, the council works with someone who already understands the organisation and its audiences.
Where things stand
The partnership continues to grow as new projects emerge. Rather than treating each commission as a separate piece of work, every project builds on the last, which keeps production efficient, maintains consistency across campaigns, and gives the council a creative partner who understands how to communicate with Watford’s communities.
