Eric Johnson: Broadcaster, Journalist and Corporate Host
A familiar face and voice on national television, Eric spent nearly six years on Channel 5 and has anchored live news for Sky, reaching audiences in more than 100 million homes worldwide. He now runs his own production company, Eric Johnson Film, Photo & Podcast, from a base in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, and hosts and speaks at corporate events.
A career that began in radio, absorbing complex information quickly, finding the most accessible angle for a general audience and drawing the best out of contributors under pressure – valuable skills that now shape every documentary, podcast and corporate production this company delivers.
Presenting Showreel
Twenty years on camera and behind the mic, from radio journalism to national broadcast documentary work.
From National Broadcast to Corporate Stage
National broadcast experience, an independent production company and a career as a working corporate speaker, three strands that reinforce each other rather than sitting apart. Alongside his on screen work, Eric is a freelance producer and presenter at the BBC, adding another layer to an already wide-ranging storytelling career.
- He first trained as a child actor, learning to think quickly, a skill that has served him well reporting breaking news and live broadcasts ever since.
- Since then he has interviewed everyone from reality stars to Hollywood actors and former Prime Ministers, building more than 10,000 hours of presenting.
- Time in front of the camera extends behind it too, as director of a production company specialising in video, photography and podcast production.
- A natural choice for live hosting, moderating panels and chairing discussions, bringing professionalism, warmth and ease to any event.
