The brief

RISO UK, makers of the VALEZUS T2100, the world’s most productive cut-sheet colour printer, needed a video to showcase the product at virtual.drupa, the leading global trade fair for printing technologies, held entirely online in 2021.

The challenge was genuinely technical, communicating serious print engineering credentials to an international, industry-expert audience without the film feeling like a dry spec sheet.

The finished video needed to work as a standalone piece for an entirely virtual trade fair, with no live audience or physical stand to support it.

The approach

  • What genuinely sets the VALEZUS T2100 apart in a competitive print market
  • How the printer actually performs at speed, not just on paper
  • Why print businesses should care about this launch specifically
  • Where RISO sits in the wider printing technology landscape

Production

  • Filming the VALEZUS T2100 in action, showing its actual print speed and output quality
  • Structuring the film around the specific claims that mattered most to a print industry audience
  • Working to RISO’s own brand standards for an international trade fair audience
  • Capturing clean, professional product footage suitable for a purely digital, on-screen presentation
  • Editing to a pace that respected a technically literate audience without losing anyone less familiar with print engineering

The result

Why this project worked

This project shows what a corporate product video needs to do for an international, expert audience, communicate real technical credibility while still holding attention, something a written spec sheet alone never manages.

Timescales vary depending on the complexity of the project, but many corporate videos can be completed within a few weeks from initial briefing to final delivery. Larger productions involving multiple locations, interviews or extensive editing may require additional time.
